About the Role

We're looking for a commercially minded and highly organised Deputy Manager – Logistics & Operations to join a leading sustainable lifestyle retailer within its new opening flagship store in central Paris.

Working closely with the General Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy flagship store, taking ownership of logistics, stock management and operational efficiency while supporting the wider team to deliver an excellent customer experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on retail leader who combines strong operational expertise with a people-focused approach and a genuine interest in sustainability, simplicity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Stock Management

• Oversee deliveries, purchase orders and the efficient flow of stock between the stockroom and shop floor.
• Maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring product availability and effective replenishment.
• Coordinate stocktakes, monitor discrepancies and implement measures to minimise stock loss and markdowns.
• Ensure goods are received, stored and handled correctly, maximising stockroom efficiency.

Team Leadership

• Support the General Manager in leading, motivating and developing the store team.
• Provide hands-on leadership on the shop floor, encouraging engagement and maintaining high standards.
• Ensure clear communication across the team and smooth day-to-day operations.
• Step into the General Manager's responsibilities when required.

Commercial Performance

• Support the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor performance, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to commercial action plans.
• Work closely with head office to ensure operational processes and business objectives are delivered effectively.

Customer Experience & Store Standards

• Help maintain an exceptional customer experience in line with the brand's values and service standards.
• Oversee product presentation, merchandising, stock availability and overall store maintenance.
• Support promotional activities, seasonal launches and key commercial events.

Operational Excellence

• Identify and resolve operational challenges, improving processes wherever possible.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and operational standards.
• Contribute to making the flagship store a benchmark for efficiency, performance and sustainable retail practices.

About You

• Experience in a retail management role, ideally within a large-format store, flagship environment or a business with complex stock and logistics requirements.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock control, deliveries and replenishment.
• A hands-on leader who can motivate teams and support a positive working environment.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to understand KPIs and translate performance data into action.
• Highly organised, proactive and confident managing competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• A practical problem-solver who takes ownership and looks for ways to improve efficiency.
• Passionate about customer service, quality and responsible retail.
