HRBP Manager, Retail
We’re looking for an experienced HRBP to join an international European HR team in Paris.
This is a broad, hands-on role covering HR operations, recruitment, payroll coordination, employee experience and European HR projects. You’ll work closely with local HR teams, senior stakeholders and external providers across multiple European markets, taking ownership of key HR processes and helping shape the wider people agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment activity across Europe, including sourcing, screening, interviews and offers.
- Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to deliver effective recruitment solutions.
- Oversee employee lifecycle processes, including contracts, amendments, onboarding and HR administration.
- Coordinate European payroll processes with local HR teams and external payroll providers, including variable pay and data validation.
- Support performance review and employee engagement initiatives within Retail Stores.
- Monitor HR KPIs, reporting and people data across the European business.
- Coordinate onboarding and ensure a consistent employee experience.
- Support employer branding and internal HR communications.
- Lead and contribute to European HR projects, including HRIS and payroll system implementation.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems and ways of working.
About You
We’re looking for someone with solid HR experience, ideally gained within an international or multi-country environment.
You’ll have:
- Several years' experience in HR, HR Operations or a broad HR Generalist role, preferably within Retail or Hospitality sectors.
- Strong knowledge of French employment law and Works Council requirements is essential.
- Experience across recruitment, employee administration and payroll coordination.
- Experience working with external payroll providers and/or international HR teams.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with HR data and reporting.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership.
- Fluent French and English.
