Beauty Training Manager wanted by leading Branded Beauty distributor to work with Salons and Spas

My Client is one of the leading Retail and FMCG businesses in the GCC .

Based in Qatar, they have built up an enviable reputation for integrity and for forming very successful partnerships with leading brands.

They have recently launched an amazing new Beauty Division with exclusive licences with some of the world’s leading brands.

As a result they are now looking for a Beauty Training manager to work with Salons and Spas in the GCC.

You must have:

Education and Qualification ·         Minimum of a One Year Diploma in Beauty Therapy or Aesthetics from a reputable College/University.

·         Professional Beauty Industry Qualifications should be obtained from a registered CIDESCO, CIBTAC or City & Guilds Institution

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Learning, Psychology, Education or Organizational Behavior is a plus.

Work

Experience

·         A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the Beauty Industry is a must.

·         A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the Beauty Industry within the Gulf Countries (GCC).

·         Understanding and insight into the Middle Eastern market.

·         Experience in Spa/Sales/Education Customer experience

·         In-depth knowledge and experience within a luxury skincare environment.

Required Skills ·         A passion for training with proven success in beauty industry

·         Excellent understanding of the GCC professional spa and salon channels is an advantage

·         Ability to create strong relationships

·         Strong analytical skills, with an inquisitive and innovative mindset

·         Problem-solving oriented

·         Persuasive and determined with a strong ability to make things happen

·         Ability to work autonomously and to be flexibly minded

·         Resilient to competition and continuously changing market

·         Excellent time management skills

Preferred Skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, motivational, coaching and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods (“how to video’s, e-learning, mentoring, coaching, classroom, and events).
  • Ability to present and tailor information to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong knowledge and experience within a luxury skincare environment.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Other Skills ·         Fluency in English is a must.

·         Arabic, French or Italian would be a plus

·         Advanced knowledge in MS Office including Word, Excel and PPT

·         Must hold a valid Driver’s License

The main responsibilities of the role is developing and implementing training programs that reinforces each brand philosophy. Creates and adapts training materials and presentations and conducts training and education to support field sales team and directly supports in promotions, events and training in the respective markets for domestic and travel retail. Responsible for but not limited to overseeing the training and coaching aestheticians and massage therapists in hotel, day spas, salons and barbers. Participates in events with sales directives; collaborates on special PR activities and events to deliver exceptional experiences and brand building moments while championing for consumer engagement.

The role is based in Doha and my Client offers an excellent salary, relocation package where necessary, quarterly bonus, flights home and medical insurance.
