
Regional Head of Entertainment Licensing- Warsaw
We are partnering with a leading global retail marketing business to recruit a Regional Head of Entertainment Licensing based in Warsaw.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and expand an established entertainment licensing function across Eastern Europe, driving both strategic growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Lead the development, sales, and execution of entertainment-based programmes across the region
- Drive a key strategic growth area focused on families and entertainment audiences
Licensing & Portfolio Development
- Identify, evaluate, and secure relevant entertainment licences
- Build and maintain a strong, diverse, and commercially viable licensing portfolio
Commercial & Client Engagement
- Support and lead key client pitches across regional markets
- Partner closely with Sales teams to deliver compelling, market-ready solutions
- Enhance client engagement through innovative entertainment propositions
Programme Development & Execution
- Translate licensed and proprietary IP into turnkey commercial programmes
- Oversee end-to-end delivery from concept through to implementation
Creative Direction
- Guide entertainment product development and campaign storytelling
- Identify trends and develop innovative concepts aligned with retail strategies
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional entertainment teams
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Key Relationships
External: Licensors, licensing agencies, creative agencies, suppliers
Internal: Executive leadership, global entertainment teams, sales, sourcing, legal, finance
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Strong experience in entertainment licensing, product development, and commercial marketing environments
- Deep understanding of licensing economics (royalties, MGs, cost structures, etc.)
- Proven ability to combine commercial strategy with creative storytelling
- Experience managing multiple projects and leading teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial, proactive mindset
Desirable:
- Experience within retail loyalty or promotional marketing
- Passion for entertainment (film, TV, gaming, toys, storytelling)
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
